Sakura Sanctuary is a quiet off-grid retreat space designed for rest, creativity, and connection with nature.
Located 45 min from Cape Town city center, the sanctuary offers a slower way of living — surrounded by natural landscapes, fresh air, and open space with lots of outdoor recycled art.
Built with intention, Sakura blends eco-living, artistic expression, and simplicity.
It is a place to disconnect from noise and reconnect with what truly matters.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Created by Artist Abby
Her vision is to create a place where art, sustainability and nature coexist in harmony.
Abby came from a totally different background, she grew up in the middle east (Abu Dhabi, Dubai). She gained international degrees in business management and a Masters in healthcare Informatics. She then worked at prestigious health care providers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In 2007, she felt the need for something completely new, different and exciting. She decided to move to Cape Town, South Africa, and 2014 she bought the land which became Sakura Sanctuary at the present.
